Hi guys, Its been a long hard year, with the economic downturn and government rulings ??.
We have launched our order online facilities with our new menus to enhance the level of our business, this has proved very lucrative.
We are now in the process of redesigning our website, of which the link will appear in the forthcoming weeks,
so please look out for this, the website will have an online ordering facility and also you will be able to download the menu to your front screen, also we have put twitter Facebook sites for you to be able to log straight into in order to leave us a message, There will also be games for you to play from the website.

Well Its been a few months for an update, summer is here and holiday season has started.
we started our journey roughly about 6 months ago, we created our blog and started writing, we never looked back just concentrated on the positive impact to our business.
since we started this journey we have experienced alot of interest from people, contact on Facebook, twitter, and having a WiFi zone has put our cafe right up there.
We are enjoying the great interest it has brought us from all business and community, corporate lunches, delivery’s from email ordering has taken off.
We are looking forward to the next social media surgery(let you know in due course).
So there you have it, our success is down to providing our customers with all the tools they need within our four walls, so they get great food great hospitality and quality at all times. With FREE WiFi.

Today is Election day, so we thought we would do our blog post today in election style!

How many times have we heard the in the past month of electioneering “the other day i met….”

Well last week, we met a great guy in our cafe, whom a lot of you will not need any introductions and that was Brian Travers from UB40!

He joined Donato Esposito for breakfast and talked about many things. below is a brief video of his experience.

Cafelicious in New Road, Rubery is capitalising on its ‘Digital Café’ success and playing host to a social media surgery aimed at local businesses.

Run by local entrepreneur Donato Esposito on behalf of Digital Birmingham, the free event, on Tuesday 27^th April from 4 to 6pm, will give businesses a short introduction to Twitter, Facebook and blogging and show how it can help them build their reputation and win new business.

Here we are a quarter through 2010 already, Well here is our update.

on th 03/03/2010 after having targeted a 3mile radius of local business’s we recieved our first email order, it was from Hollywood Bowl on Rubery Great Park a big thankyou for starting us off.

We have now steadily and still growing orders via the internet cafelicious@hotmail.co.uk

Having our Menu reprinted it has proved very fruitful, we now have directions and links to Facebook and twitter for our business Linking us with Birmingham post(A big Thankyou to all).

We will also be hosting local business surgeries in the next coming month’s.

We would like to thank all the business’s who have ordered over the internet

Thankyou for your continued support, as we are now continuing to progress towards launching our delivery service to all business, we are offering a full menu also corporate lunch’s .

corporate lunch’s consist of basically whatever your needs require, we can cater for trays of sandwiches sausage rolls, drum sticks, salads, also cakes etc.

Hi all,

Thanks for your great support for the christmas period, sorry that the mince pie offer didnt go as well as expected, However we did get customers asking about mince pies( not as many as we would have liked). Just goes to show you cant win them all.

Hope you all had a great christmas and new year.

Well we are steaming fast into January and the snow is falling heavy here in rubery, Rest assured thou we have managed to get in to cafelicious in order to help all those customers who rely on us as we are a part of the community.

We also sent out tweets on twitter for our followers , just to let them know if there is anything we can do with regards to elderly people not being able to get food in then we at CAFELICIOUS would endevour to deliver once we’ve recieved a phone call.

PLUS’S AND MINUS’S

Well here we are again,its 3weeks to christmas and time is running out fast, we have just shut shop and got home(tired and thinking about writing a blog).

The Plus’s for our business is that we are busy, Either doing preparation for the day or running the business and serving customers, The Negative’s are, where do you find the time to blog and twitter all day long so that you can keep up with the world? so it is extremely hard work to do this.

Providing a service for our customers as in WiFi,which is totally free providing you purchase something for your time sat in our Cafe, But what do you do when your asked to provide electric whilst your customer is on your premises, This question was asked of us , i replied that we were not an internet cafe but a service provider providing only free WiFi.(What do you think?).
